DESCRIPTION:Dalit Christianity in South India: Dialogues on Caste and Faith \nJoin us for a meal and conversation facilitated by Hannah Injamuri\, PhD student in Christian Education and Congregational Studies\, as we explore the intersection of caste and religion within the context of South Indian Christianity. This dialogue will center on the lived experiences of Dalit Christians and address topics of caste structure\, challenges of caste oppression\, religious marginalization\, and the pursuit of social justice. The narratives shared will also highlight the transformative role of faith and education in empowering Dalit communities. This conversation aims to encourage critical discussions on caste\, faith\, and social justice and to urge Indian churches to address social stratification through Religious Education toward liberation.
