DESCRIPTION:Open to all\, the Garrett-Evangelical reception at the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature and the American Academy of Religion will take place on November 19 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Westin\, Navarro B in downtown San Antonio\, Texas. \nCome and go as you like! The reception will include hors d’oeuvres\, drinks\, and a brief welcome and update. Dean and Professor of Christian Ethics Jen Harvey and the Harry R. Kendall Professor of Christian Theology and Postcolonial Studies Wonhee Anne Joh will be in attendance.
