DESCRIPTION:Join a conversation with Rev. Praveen Raj N.L\, MAPM 2nd year student\, on ‘Envisioning the Church of the Multitude in the Context of the Unstoppable Rise of Hindu Nationalism in India’. The multitude is the very life of India\, but in a country known for its diversity\, the current BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) leads government\, controls\, orders\, and homogenizes the nation\, people\, language\, and culture to promote Hindutva ideology. In the process of homogenization\, the people on the periphery of society\, such as Dalits\, refugees\, the LGBTQ community\, and so on\, are routinely excluded. The people in the margins smell the politics of death. Let us discuss the potential of envisioning an ecclesiology that denies the logic of ‘Oneness’ and affirms the logic of ‘manyness’ of the ‘Multitude.’
