DESCRIPTION:This month’s Let’s Talk Globally is in partnership with the Stead Center for Ethics and Values and will feature a conversation with Palestinian ELCJHL Pastor\, Rev. Sally Azar: \nJoin us for a meal and reflective conversation with Rev. Sally Azar about her life and ministry as the first female Palestinian pastor ordained in the Holy Land. Rev. Azar is a pastor at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land\, and currently serves as a pastor in Jerusalem for both Arabic and English-speaking congregations. She is active with Sumud\, the ELCA’s new name for their church’s engagement in accompaniment\, awareness-building\, and advocacy for justice in Palestine and Israel. Sanjog Patro\, 2nd year MAPCC student\, will facilitate the conversation.
